To assist you in choosing between the Gateway 14.1" and the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro, consider your usage needs and budget. The Gateway 14.1" is more affordable and suited for everyday tasks like browsing, word processing, and moderate multitasking. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is a high-end device designed for power users, offering superior performance for intense tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering software. It usually comes with a higher price tag. Remember that the Legion 7i Pro is heavier and less portable due to its powerful components, and its battery life might not match that of the Gateway if you're using it for intensive tasks. If price is a major factor and your needs are basic, the Gateway could be sufficient, but if you require advanced capabilities and can invest more, the Lenovo Legion 7i Pro is the better performer. NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | September 2021
"The Gateway Ultra Slim 14" is surprisingly quiet with long battery life. The inexpensive Gateway excels at maximizing performance per dollar with lots of RAM and storage, super-quiet fan, and a long battery life. It can even house up to two M.2 SSDs which we weren't expecting from such a cheap system. However, the iffy reliability of the keyboard and USB-C port on our test unit means users should double-check for these potential issues immediately after purchasing."

Florian Glaser | February 2023
"Passionate gamers who want to play demanding modern titles with maximum details and don't mind spending the moolah will find the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro to be the right choice. The bright, sharp, and color-accurate 16:10 QHD 240 Hz display makes for an immersive viewing experience. The hardware is housed in a stylish chassis that feels premium and scores well in terms of workmanship and stability. Other aspects such as sound quality, input devices, and connectivity also seem to be near-perfect."
