The Gateway 14.1" is a budget-friendly option suited for basic tasks like browsing the web and using office applications, offering a lower price, a smaller and more portable form. However, it has limited storage and a less powerful processor and graphics card, which affects its ability to handle more demanding tasks. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is considerably more expensive, but it has significantly better performance with a high-end processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. It also has a larger screen and a much higher refresh rate, benefiting gamers and professionals who need the extra screen real estate and smooth visuals. However, it's heavier and less portable, and the higher specifications mean it might have a shorter battery life compared to the Gateway, especially when performing power-intensive tasks. Choose the Gateway if affordability and portability are your primary concerns, and the Gigabyte Aorus if you need high performance for advanced computing needs. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Gateway 14.1" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Gateway 14.1" likely offers sufficient resolution and adequate brightness but falls short in panel quality, impacting overall viewing pleasure, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H provides sharp imagery and high brightness levels, resulting in a more vibrant and clear display. In engineering and design, the Gateway's screen may not accurately represent colors due to limited color gamut coverage, whereas the Aorus' broader color gamuts more precisely render various hues, essential for detailed design work. However, both laptops have underwhelming refresh rates, which isn't ideal for 3D applications that benefit from smoother motion and better responsiveness at higher refresh rates.

"The Gateway Ultra Slim 14" is surprisingly quiet with long battery life. The inexpensive Gateway excels at maximizing performance per dollar with lots of RAM and storage, super-quiet fan, and a long battery life. It can even house up to two M.2 SSDs which we weren't expecting from such a cheap system. However, the iffy reliability of the keyboard and USB-C port on our test unit means users should double-check for these potential issues immediately after purchasing."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
