The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 offers a compact 14-inch touch-enabled display, ample storage and memory, and is powered by a capable AMD Ryzen processor. It is lightweight, with good battery life and includes a backlit keyboard, making it a solid choice for general use and multitasking. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a larger 15.6-inch touch-enabled screen and also runs on a capable Ryzen processor, although it has slightly less storage and memory compared to the Dell. The IdeaPad boasts a longer battery life, meaning you can use it for extended periods without recharging, but it's slightly heavier which impacts portability. Both laptops have integrated graphics, making them suitable for everyday tasks and light gaming, but not for intense 3D gaming. If you prioritize screen real estate and longer unplugged usage, go for the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15". If portability, higher memory, and storage are more important, the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 would be the better choice. Both laptops are similarly priced, making your decision more about personal usage preferences than cost. Give Feedback

The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for content creation, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" has a better screen for general use, and engineering and design.
For general use, both the Dell Inspiron 14 7435 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" provide adequate resolution and brightness, ensuring comfortable viewing for tasks like browsing and streaming, but they may not offer the premium display features found in higher-end models. In the context of engineering and design, although sufficient for basic tasks, their displays lack the wide color gamuts necessary for precise color work, which may not meet the standards required by professionals in these fields. For 3D and gaming, the lower refresh rates of both laptops mean less fluid motion and responsiveness, while the resolution and panel quality are good enough for casual use but do not cater to the demands of high-end gaming or professional 3D modeling.

The Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Dell Inspiron 14 7435 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" are fair choices for gaming and 3D tasks because they both have integrated graphics, Vega 8, within their CPUs which provide modest gaming performance, and their screens have a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz, which is adequate but not optimal for fast-paced gaming. Both laptops have decent CPUs and IPS display panels which are beneficial for screen quality but may not be the top option for more serious gaming and 3D work that demands higher graphical power and faster refresh rates.

How the Dell Inpsiron 14 7435 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"We see no shame in an economy laptop missing the four-star mark. Frankly, we considered giving the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 three-and-a-half stars for its low price, competitive performance, and long battery life. Unfortunately, working with a screen that can't deliver at least 300 nits of brightness is simply no fun to the point of detrimental. Still, if you're looking for a convertible laptop on a tight budget, it's worth keeping an eye on Dell's sales and discounts. That Lavender Blue model is fairly tempting."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
