The Dell G15 5520 is more budget-friendly and offers a good balance for general use and gaming, with reasonable portability and battery life. It's particularly suitable if you prefer a device with longer battery life and don't require the highest end performance. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 is more expensive but provides top-notch performance suitable for the most intensive tasks, including 3D rendering and machine learning, with a larger and high-quality display. While it excels in performance and display, it is less portable and has shorter battery life compared to the Dell. Consider the Dell if price and battery are priorities, and the Razer if performance and screen quality are your main concerns. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 18 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell G15 5520 is good.
The Dell G15 5520 is equipped with an Nvidia RTX 3060 and a screen capable of 165 refreshes per second, which supports fluid gameplay, but the Razer Blade 18 offers superior gaming and 3D experiences thanks to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 240. The latter's enhancements, however, generally come at a higher price, signifying a balance between cost and cutting-edge performance.

The Razer Blade 18 is excellent for engineering and design, while the Dell G15 5520 is very good.
The Razer Blade 18 surpasses the Dell G15 5520 in engineering and design use primarily due to its significantly more powerful CPU, larger RAM capacity, and superior GPU, which are crucial for demanding tasks like 3D modeling and simulations. Although the Dell offers a robust setup with a high-performing CPU and quality GPU, the Razer Blade 18 also boasts better screen quality with a higher resolution and refresh rate, offering clearer and smoother visuals which enhance detailed design work. However, the Dell G15 5520 has longer battery life and is slightly more portable, providing better on-the-go usability.

The Razer Blade 18 has a better screen than the Dell G15 5520 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Dell G15 5520 has a display that excels in resolution and brightness, making colors pop and details sharp for general use and engineering tasks, but its lower refresh rate hampers the smooth visuals crucial for immersive gaming and 3D applications. In contrast, the Razer Blade 18 boasts a high-quality display with vibrant color accuracy and wide color gamuts, which are essential for professional engineering and design work, ensuring that colors are reproduced faithfully. However, like the Dell, the Razer's lower refresh rate means it isn't the best fit for gaming or 3D work that benefit from smoother motion and faster screen updates.

"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
