When choosing between the Dell G15 5520 and the Razer Blade 14, consider that the Razer Blade 14 offers high performance and a premium build, making it well-suited for gaming and intensive tasks, but it comes at a higher price and may have less battery life. The Dell G15 5520, while less expensive, is bulkier and heavier, hence less portable, but it still delivers good performance for general use and some gaming. If budget is a concern and you need a reliable laptop for everyday tasks with some gaming capabilities, the Dell might be the better choice. However, if you prioritize top-notch performance for gaming or demanding applications and don't mind spending more, the Razer Blade 14 is the superior option. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 14 has a better screen than the Dell G15 5520 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, where clarity, sharpness, and visibility matter, the Dell G15's panel type, resolution, and brightness offer a clear and vivid experience, while the Razer Blade 14 delivers an even better visual experience with superior brightness and resolution. In engineering and design tasks that demand precise color accuracy, both laptops provide good coverage of professional color gamuts, ensuring that designs and projects appear with true-to-life colors, with the Razer Blade 14 slightly edging out with better color reproduction. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D applications where fast action is common, both the Dell G15 and Razer Blade 14 fall short due to their lower refresh rates, which means they're less capable of delivering the ultra-smooth visuals desired by gamers and professionals in animation or 3D modeling.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Razer Blade 14 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"After making a huge splash with the original 2021 model, it's expected that the 2022 refresh would be more of a minor update to an already impressive machine. It adds a higher resolution webcam (720p to 1080p), faster CPU (Ryzen 9 5900HX to Ryzen 9 6900HX), faster GPU (RTX 3070/3080 to 3070/3080 Ti), faster RAM (DDR4-3200 to DDR5-4800), faster M.2 SSD support (PCIe3 x4 to PCIe4 x4), newer WLAN module (Killer AX1690i to Qualcomm WCN685x), and a MUX switch for the new integrated Radeon 680M GPU. It's indubitably an upgrade especially in terms of single-thread processor performance."
