The Dell G15 5520 is more budget-friendly and geared towards gaming, with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and a high refresh rate display, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. The MSI Summit E16 Flip, however, costs more but is more portable with a longer battery life, has a touch-enabled higher-resolution display, caters more to business professionals with Windows 11 Pro, and still provides strong performance for general use to moderate 3D and engineering tasks with its Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. Consider the Dell for cost-effective gaming and the MSI for versatile business use with better display and portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Summit E16 Flip has a better screen than the Dell G15 5520 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, a laptop like the Dell G15 5520 with decent resolution and brightness makes for a clear and vibrant display, but the MSI Summit E16 Flip with higher resolution and brightness provides an even sharper and more vivid viewing experience. In engineering and design, both laptops offer quality displays due to their wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color reproduction, but the MSI Summit's superior color range gives it a slight edge for professionals who need the utmost color precision. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on both the Dell G15 and MSI Summit lead to less fluid motion on the screen, which is less ideal for fast-paced gaming or smooth 3D rendering.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the MSI Summit E16 Flip compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
