The Dell G15 5520 is capable of handling intensive gaming and engineering tasks, providing strong performance, although it's not the most portable option, possibly due to its size or weight. In contrast, the MSI Raider GE76 also delivers robust performance for demanding applications and may be better suited for users looking for top-tier capabilities, but like the Dell, it also sacrifices portability. When choosing between the two, consider whether the performance needs outweigh the convenience of a lighter, more mobile laptop. If portability is a priority, both models might be less ideal compared to other laptops that focus on slim and lightweight designs. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE76 is very good for general use, while the Dell G15 5520 is good.
The Dell G15 5520 is good for general use with its capable CPU, sufficient memory for multitasking, and a quality 15.6-inch screen, but its heavier weight and larger size reduce portability, and it has a moderate battery size. The MSI Raider GE76, however, is rated very good because it not only matches the Dell's robust CPU and features a higher-quality, larger screen, but also doubles the memory for advanced multitasking and offers a significantly larger battery, though it is less portable due to its larger size and weight.

The MSI Raider GE76 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell G15 5520 is good.
The Dell G15 5520, with its Nvidia RTX 3060 and 165Hz screen refresh rate, offers good performance and smooth gaming visuals, but the MSI Raider GE76's superior Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics and higher 240Hz refresh rate result in exceptional gaming and 3D rendering capabilities. Additionally, while both laptops feature quality IPS screens, the MSI's higher resolution and screen size enhance the visual experience, further justifying its excellence in gaming and 3D tasks over the Dell G15 5520.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the MSI Raider GE76 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
