The Dell G15 5520 offers robust performance for intensive tasks such as engineering, with a higher-end processor, more RAM, and a more powerful graphics card compared to the MSI Bravo 15. However, the MSI Bravo 15 is lighter, which may make it a better option for those who value portability. Both laptops have similar battery life, and neither stands out for particularly long unplugged use. Screen quality is comparable, with both featuring IPS panels and similar color space coverage. If cost is a significant factor, the MSI may be more appealing as it generally comes at a lower price point, but with half the storage of the Dell. For gaming, both laptops can handle demanding games, but the Dell's more powerful GPU provides an edge. If you require a laptop for general use, either will suffice; however, for more demanding tasks like 3D rendering or engineering software, the Dell's superior hardware will deliver better performance. The Dell G15 5520 is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI Bravo 15 is good.
The Dell G15 5520 stands out for engineering and design use with its powerful Intel i7 processor, higher RAM capacity, and Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics, which are well-suited for demanding tasks, while its high-quality screen supports detailed visuals. Conversely, the MSI Bravo 15 has a capable AMD Ryzen 5 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics but with less RAM, and although its screen is also high-quality and the device is lighter, making it more portable, it may not perform as seamlessly with intensive engineering applications as the Dell.

The Dell G15 5520 has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell G15 5520 likely offers vibrant colors and sharp images due to its resolution and panel type, making it suitable for general use and detailed work in engineering and design where color accuracy is crucial. However, its slower refresh rate may not be optimal for fast-paced gaming or seamless 3D modeling. Meanwhile, the MSI Bravo 15 provides adequate visual clarity for everyday tasks and some professional applications, but it falls short in both color range for professional design and refresh rate for 3D applications.

"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
