The Dell G15 5520 is equipped with a high-performance CPU and GPU which makes it better suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks. However, it's heavier and less portable. The LG Ultra 13, on the other hand, offers a formidable balance of performance and portability, being lighter and having a longer battery life, making it well-suited for general use and on-the-go productivity. If performance in demanding applications is your priority and you don't mind the extra weight, go for the Dell. If you prefer a balance between everyday performance and easier mobility, the LG Ultra 13 is a better choice. Give Feedback

The Dell G15 5520 is very good for engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The Dell G15 5520 is better suited for engineering and design because it has a more powerful CPU and dedicated GPU, which are crucial for software used in those fields, alongside more storage and a high-quality, larger screen. On the other hand, while the LG Ultra 13 is more portable and has a higher screen brightness, it falls short for such tasks due to a less powerful integrated GPU and a smaller screen, which may affect multitasking and detailed work.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the LG Ultra 13 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
