The Dell G15 5520 is often a more budget-friendly option compared to the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, offering solid gaming and general performance capabilities. With this Dell model, you may sacrifice some portability due to its heavier weight and larger dimensions. The Lenovo, being slimmer and lighter, can be more suitable for on-the-go use without compromising much on power; it's equipped with similar gaming capabilities. The Lenovo also has an edge in battery capacity, which may translate to longer use away from a power outlet. In sum, if price and robust usage are primary concerns, the Dell could be preferable, while the Lenovo stands out for better battery life and portability. Give Feedback

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
