The Dell G15 5520 and Lenovo Legion 5 15" both offer solid performance, but there are key differences to consider. The Dell typically costs more, has an Intel processor, and an RTX 3060 graphics card, with a Full HD display suited for general use and gaming. In contrast, the Lenovo often costs less, houses an AMD processor, a newer RTX 4060 graphics card, and features a higher resolution display, which is great for visually-intensive tasks and gaming. The Lenovo also has a higher refresh rate, making it smoother for fast-paced action. For portability, both laptops are similar in weight, but if you prioritize latest graphics and better screen resolution, and are looking to save a bit of money, the Lenovo Legion 5 could be the better choice. However, if brand reliability and Intel CPUs are more your concern, you might prefer the Dell G15. Give Feedback

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
