If you're on a budget and mainly use your laptop for everyday tasks, the Dell G15 might be a good fit. However, if you're into gaming or use demanding applications and need better performance and a higher quality display, and don't mind spending more, the HP Omen Transcend could be worth the extra investment. Keep in mind the HP might also offer a superior build quality but it could be heavier or have shorter battery life, making it less ideal for frequent travel. Consider what's more crucial for you: saving money or having a laptop with higher specs for more demanding tasks. Give Feedback

While both laptops have adequate storage and respectable keyboards, the HP's advanced heat management and lower operating noise provide a more comfortable and quiet environment, which may justify the higher cost for users prioritizing sustained performance and mobility.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the HP Omen Transcend 14 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
