The Dell G15 5520 generally comes at a lower price, making it suitable for those on a budget, but with less powerful graphics than the Gigabyte Aorus 15, it may not perform as well in high-end gaming or demanding 3D tasks. Both laptops have sufficient processing power and memory for general use and engineering applications, but you'll find the Gigabyte more future-proof at the expense of weight and cost. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15 has a better screen than the Dell G15 5520 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Dell G15 5520, with its adequate resolution and brightness, offers a comfortable viewing experience for everyday tasks and professional design work, but its slower refresh rate limits optimal gaming and 3D modeling performance. The Gigabyte Aorus 15 boasts a high-quality display with sharp resolution and strong brightness, enhancing visual precision for designers and general users; however, like the Dell, it falls short for gaming due to a less suitable refresh rate. Both laptops provide crisp and vibrant color reproduction necessary for engineering and design, but without the high refresh rates gamers seek, neither is ideal for fast-paced gaming environments.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Gigabyte Aorus 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15 is a power-hungry gaming beast. The Aorus 15 is designed to run games at QHD and high to max settings. But it also cuts a good figure in other demanding applications such as video editing and rendering. This is made possible by the Core i7 12700H and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop inside the machine. A lightning-fast PCIe 4.0 SSD (1 TB) allows for short loading times."
