The Dell G15 5520 offers high performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming thanks to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. The Dell Latitude 5330, while not suited for intensive gaming or graphics tasks due to its integrated graphics, is ideal for business use with better battery life, lighter weight, and is more affordable. If you need top-notch performance for demanding tasks, go for the G15. If mobility and cost are priorities, and your laptop use is more about general productivity, the Latitude 5330 is a better pick. The Dell G15 5520 has a better screen than the Dell Latitude 5330 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Dell G15 5520's screen offers vibrant colors and crisp details suitable for daily tasks and engineering applications due to its resolution and color accuracy, but its lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for gaming and 3D work where smooth motion is crucial. On the other hand, the Dell Latitude 5330, while providing adequate resolution and brightness for routine activities and sufficient color range for some design work, falls short for gaming and 3D tasks because it doesn't have the high refresh rate that those applications benefit from. Both laptops offer screens that are not tailored to gaming or high-end 3D computing, primarily due to limitations in motion fluidity which is key for an immersive experience in fast-paced scenarios.

How the Dell G15 5520 and the Dell Latitude 5330 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
