The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13, being more expensive, offers a high-resolution touchscreen, longer battery life, and lightweight design, suitable for general use and portability. In contrast, the Dell G15 5520, at a lower price point, provides stronger performance for 3D tasks, machine learning, and gaming thanks to its robust processor and dedicated graphics card, but this comes with reduced battery life and added weight, making it less portable. For general use, the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13's superior panel type, higher resolution and brightness make it stand out, offering crisp visuals and more vivid colors compared to the Dell G15. When it comes to engineering and design, the Zenbook's wider color gamuts ensure greater accuracy for professional creative work, while the Dell trails slightly behind despite its competent display. However, both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D applications due to their lower refresh rates, which can't deliver the smoother visuals often demanded by these tasks, even though they may have sufficient resolution and panel type.

How the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 and the Dell G15 5520 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
