The ASUS Zenbook Duo is a mid-range device with a high-resolution dual-screen setup, commended for general use and multitasking, yet offering moderate battery life. Its light weight enhances portability, and additional features like a backlit keyboard and touchscreen contribute to versatility. Although suited for general and engineering tasks, it's not ideal for intense gaming or machine learning. In contrast, the Dell G15 is a budget-friendly gaming laptop with superior performance for 3D applications and engineering software, thanks to a dedicated graphics card. It's heavier, reducing portability, but provides an extended battery life and a design favored by gamers. For intensive gaming and engineering tasks, the Dell G15 excels, but with a tradeoff in portability and premium multitasking features. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | May 2020
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."

Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
