The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED offers higher display quality with its OLED screen, which generally means better color accuracy and contrast—ideal for visual tasks such as photo editing. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 with an AMD Ryzen processor has slightly more RAM, potentially allowing for better multitasking. The IdeaPad also boasts a longer battery life, which can be essential for those who need to work on the go without frequent recharging. The smaller screen and lighter weight of the Zenbook may be an advantage for portability. Choosing between the two will depend on your preference for screen quality and portability versus battery life and multitasking capabilities. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED is equipped with a more powerful CPU and GPU, aiding in demanding tasks and rendering, and an OLED screen with higher resolution and colour coverage that is favorable for design work, against the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 which offers fair performance with a less powerful CPU and GPU and an IPS screen with lower resolution and color coverage. Although the IdeaPad 1 is lighter and has longer battery life, making it more portable, the Zenbook's superior screen, CPU, and GPU make it better suited for engineering and design tasks.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook's OLED panel provides vibrant colors and deep blacks, paired with higher resolution, making it sharp and bright for activities like browsing and content consumption. For engineering and design tasks, the OLED screen's wide color gamut covers a larger spectrum, ensuring accurate color representation, crucial for detailed work. Contrastingly, its lower refresh rate compared to gaming-oriented panels makes it less suitable for smooth gameplay in fast-paced 3D games, where high refresh rates are key to responsiveness and fluid motion.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"While one of the more budget-friendly configurations of the Asus Zenbook 14X OLED may make a compelling case as a top value pick, it’s difficult to be disappointed with the more expensive model we reviewed here. At its core, for all models, it’s a luxury-built laptop with extreme portability and a gorgeous OLED display. Our unit rocks with a snappy Core i9 processor for getting real work done, and the discrete GPU—even if it has a clear power ceiling—is a bonus for creative pros."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
