If you prioritize a high-quality display and are interested in occasional gaming, the ASUS Zenbook with its OLED screen and dedicated Nvidia graphics may be a better fit. However, it has a shorter battery life. The MSI Summit offers longer battery life and a more recent release, which might include updated features, but relies on integrated graphics that are less suitable for gaming and intensive tasks. Both laptops have touchscreens, but the ASUS does not have facial recognition, whereas the MSI does. The MSI is also slightly lighter, which could be a plus for portability. Both are well-suited for general use, engineering tasks, and boast premium business laptop attributes. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
When making a decision between the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo for varying uses, it's important to consider their screen attributes. For general use, the Zenbook's high resolution and brightness deliver crisp and vivid visuals, making it preferable over the MSI which, albeit good, may not match the ASUS in display clarity and luminance. In engineering and design, the Zenbook's superior color gamut coverage ensures more accurate color reproduction, which is critical for professional creative work, while the MSI provides competent but less precise color fidelity; for gaming and 3D tasks, however, both laptops may fall short due to their lower refresh rates, although their resolution and panel type still provide a decent visual experience for less demanding games.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X and MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo are both good for engineering and design.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X, with its dedicated Nvidia MX550 GPU and an OLED screen with high resolution and color accuracy, is tailored for tasks that require strong graphics performance and high-quality visual output, such as engineering simulations or design software. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo offers the versatility of a 2-in-1 design with touch capabilities, a notably longer battery life, and slightly lighter weight, making it better suited for engineers and designers who value portability and on-the-go use, even though its integrated Iris Xe graphics may not perform as well as a dedicated GPU in demanding applications.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"MSI wants to prove that it can do more than just gaming laptops and the Summit E13 Flip is a great example of what the manufacturer is capable of especially in terms of aesthetics and performance. Normally for subnotebooks or convertibles, TDP and performance are often below average as makers want to meet slimmer designs and lower weight targets. The Summit manages to outperform others in its size class and category while still looking sleek and portable in the process. If you want a convertible that won't throttle significantly when under load, then this MSI will be one of the better options you can find."
