Considering the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X, it's important to focus on their strengths. The Acer Nitro 5 is better suited for gaming with a more powerful GPU and has a larger screen, but it's heavier and not as portable. The ASUS Zenbook boasts a superior OLED screen with higher resolution, a lighter design for mobility, and a more prestigious CPU, making it a strong candidate for general use and multimedia tasks. Choose the Acer if gaming or graphical performance is key; opt for the ASUS if you prioritize display quality, portability, and tasks that aren't as GPU-intensive. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Acer Nitro 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook 14X offers a sharper image and brighter display, which improves readability and visibility, while the Acer Nitro 5's display is adequately clear but less vivid. Engineering and design favor the ASUS for its wider color gamut, providing more accurate color representation which is essential for detailed visual work; the Acer has a decent range of colors but might not be as precise. However, for gaming and 3D, the Acer's limitation on refresh rate can lead to less smooth visuals, and while the ASUS also has a poor refresh rate for gaming, its other qualities don't compensate in this area either.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 14X compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
