Choosing between the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Lenovo LOQ 16 depends on your specific needs. The ASUS has an OLED screen with a higher resolution, which is excellent for vibrant colors and contrast, making it a solid choice for general use and media consumption. Its lightweight design improves portability, and it's slightly less expensive. However, if you are interested in 3D work, machine learning, or gaming, the Lenovo, with its RTX graphics card and hardware ray tracing, delivers more robust performance for these tasks despite being heavier and somewhat less portable. Keep in mind that the Lenovo also has a higher refresh rate display, which is beneficial for fast-paced gaming. Give Feedback

The Lenovo LOQ 16 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook 14X is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X, with its less powerful Nvidia MX550 graphics card and a 90Hz screen refresh rate, is less suited for high-end gaming and 3D applications compared to the Lenovo LOQ 16. The Lenovo LOQ 16, on the other hand, features a more robust Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and a higher 144Hz screen refresh rate, providing smoother visuals and better performance for gaming and 3D content.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook 14X offers a high-resolution display with excellent brightness, making images and text sharp and easily viewable in various lighting conditions, which is less apparent on the Lenovo LOQ 16. In engineering and design tasks, the Zenbook's superior coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB ensures more accurate color reproduction critical for detailed work. However, both laptops have lower refresh rates, which can hinder the smoothness and responsiveness required in Gaming and 3D applications, making them less ideal for those specific needs.

The Lenovo LOQ 16 and ASUS Zenbook 14X are both good for engineering and design.
The Lenovo LOQ 16 is noted as very good for engineering and design use due to its powerful AMD processor and high-performing Nvidia RTX graphics, which are essential for computational and visual tasks, as well as a high-refresh-rate IPS display, although it's less portable and has modest color coverage. How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Lenovo LOQ 16 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
