If you prioritize portability and battery life, the ASUS Zenbook 14X is lighter and has better battery life, making it suitable for on-the-go use; however, its performance for gaming or demanding tasks is limited compared to the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro. The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, on the other hand, is heavier, which affects its portability, and has a shorter battery life but offers superior performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, as well as a higher refresh rate screen that's ideal for intensive gaming. Both have similar storage and RAM, so your choice depends on whether you need a powerful, gaming-oriented laptop or a more portable device with an OLED screen for general use. Give Feedback

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
