If your priority is a high-quality display, the ASUS Zenbook 14X with its OLED screen offers vibrant colors and high contrast, making it excellent for visual work and entertainment; however, keep in mind that it has lower battery life compared to the Dell Inspiron 14 7425. The Dell model, featuring a touchscreen and longer battery life, might be more suitable if you need a versatile laptop for on-the-go usage. Performance wise, the ASUS with its dedicated Nvidia graphics is more suited for tasks requiring GPU acceleration, like certain types of gaming or creative applications, while the Dell's integrated graphics are adequate for general use and some light multimedia tasks. Both laptops offer similar portability, but the Dell is slightly heavier and also functions as a 2-in-1, adding tablet-like utility. In terms of pricing, the ASUS tends to be less expensive, providing a cost-effective option for those needing a machine with better graphical performance. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook 14X has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook 14X boasts a high-resolution display and superior brightness, making it a pleasure to use for everyday tasks and precision work critical for engineering, where the vibrant and accurate colors provided by a wide color gamut are essential. However, its refresh rate may not meet the demands of 3D applications and fast-paced gaming, where smooth motion is critical. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 offers a balanced display for regular and professional tasks but lacks the high color fidelity and rapid refresh needed for specialized engineering software and immersive gaming experiences.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14X and the Dell Inspiron 14 7425 compare to other laptops
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
"Overall, this Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 offers a lot to like, especially at its oft-discounted price of $800. It’s a sturdy laptop with strong performance, a convertible touchscreen, loud speakers, and a convenient fingerprint reader. But the trade-offs you’ll make in pursuit of that lower price—most notably the dim display and stiff trackpad—might just keep you from outright loving it."
