For a balance of performance and portability with a stunning OLED display, the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED is ideal, especially for general use and creative tasks with its high color accuracy. However, it falls short for intensive gaming and demanding engineering tasks due to its less powerful GPU compared to the Lenovo Legion 5 15". The Legion, on the other hand, offers superior gaming and engineering performance with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, but sacrifices some portability due to its heavier build and shorter battery life. It also has a less vibrant IPS display, though it still provides a high refresh rate suitable for gaming. Choose the ASUS for everyday tasks and content consumption with its excellent screen and longer battery life, or opt for the Lenovo if gaming and heavy-duty applications are your priority. How the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
