The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED offers a larger screen with an impressive OLED display, making it ideal for those who prioritize vibrant visuals and a larger workspace. It's also slightly more affordable and has a number pad, which is handy for data entry tasks. However, it's less portable due to its larger size and weight, and the battery life is shorter compared to the Zenbook 14X. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook 14X, while more expensive, is more compact and has a longer battery life, making it a better choice for users who are always on the move. It also boasts a higher quality webcam and a more comprehensive port selection, including Thunderbolt 4. With more RAM and a dedicated Nvidia MX550 graphics card, it's better suited for light gaming and creative tasks that benefit from additional graphics power. The Zenbook's build quality is superior, and it has a slightly better performance score for general use, gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, as well as for engineering tasks. Ultimately, if portability, battery life, and all-around performance are your priorities, the Zenbook 14X is the way to go. However, if you're looking for a larger, more visually stunning display and want to save a bit of money, the Vivobook S 15 OLED is a solid choice. Give Feedback

LaptopMag

Darragh Murphy | November 2022
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."

NotebookCheck

Sebastian Jentsch | April 2022
"With the Zenbook 14X, Asus has a 14-incher in its range that is - mostly - a joy to use. First, there is the colorful OLED panel with 3K resolution that displays the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. The Zenbook is also at the forefront in terms of workmanship, input devices and connections with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports and a generous keyboard layout. A pleasure to use, the Zenbook 14X is a solid, very well-built subnotebook that sits well on the table. A runtime of five hours, however, is below average for a high-end subnotebook nowadays. The OLED screensaver causes increased power consumption when in idle mode."
