For general use such as browsing the web and office applications, the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 is more budget-friendly and has decent portability. However, it has limited storage, lower memory, and a less powerful processor compared to the Dell G15 5520. The Dell model is better suited for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering, and gaming thanks to its more powerful CPU, GPU, and greater memory and storage. It also has a higher-quality display and overall build but is less portable due to its heavier weight and larger size, which could affect its convenience for on-the-go use. Give Feedback

The Dell G15 5520 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 is poor.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 15, with its modest Intel Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, and basic TN screen, is less suited for general use due to lower performance and screen quality compared to the Dell G15 5520, which offers a powerful Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a high-quality IPS display. Furthermore, the Vivobook’s portability and longer battery life may appeal to those prioritizing convenience over the Dell's superior capabilities for tasks that demand more power and better visuals.

The Dell G15 5520 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook Go 15's display may leave colors looking washed out and lacking crispness, making detailed work and vibrant imagery less appealing for both general and specialized uses like engineering. On the other hand, the Dell G15 5520 with its better color reproduction and sharper resolution enhances visual clarity and color accuracy, which is essential for design work and general tasks. However, for gaming and 3D applications, while the Dell's good resolution and panel type contribute to image quality, the lack of a high refresh rate can make fast-paced visuals less smooth compared to displays optimized for such activities.

"The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is a good option if you’re looking for one device to tackle a bunch of smaller problems. For simple school studies, portable evening entertainment or distractions, and getting household admin or light office workloads out of the way, it’s a great little package with respectable battery life, and a great contender for the advent of cloud gaming."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Dell G15 (2022) is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop, and is great for gaming. You can configure the laptop with powerful Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and various NVIDIA dedicated GPUs, all of which deliver a smooth gaming experience at 1080p. There's also a QHD 240Hz display option if you want better visuals, though you'll have to pair it with the top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti to get good frame rates. It doesn't get overly hot or loud under load, and there's no noticeable throttling on the CPU or GPU. Unfortunately, the 120Hz panel has a slow response time, causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate."
