If you are looking for higher gaming or 3D performance, the ASUS Vivobook 16X may suit you better with its newer graphics card. However, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers greater battery life, which could be important if you need to use the laptop on the go. The ASUS has a larger screen and a higher screen refresh rate that is beneficial for detailed work and smoother visuals. The Lenovo is slightly lighter and offers a higher-quality keyboard. Both options have similar storage and memory, so your choice may hinge on the specific tasks like gaming or need for portability and longer usage away from power outlets. Give Feedback

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers ASUS Vivobook 16X to be very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good.
The ASUS Vivobook 16X boasts a stronger GPU and a higher screen aspect ratio that benefits engineering and design applications, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 offers a high-quality portability with a slight edge in CPU but a less powerful GPU, which might not be as optimal for graphics-intensive tasks despite its good screen brightness and higher contrast ratio. Although both laptops have equal RAM and similar screen sizes, the ASUS has a more relevant GPU for demanding engineering software and design work, whereas the Legion Slim 7 combines moderate performance with added mobility and better keyboard and speaker quality for a more versatile user experience.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16X and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
