The ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly option with a larger screen, making it suitable for general use and multitasking with a modest battery life. In contrast, the ASUS Zenbook 13 is pricier but offers a portable, lightweight design with a higher quality OLED display and a powerful processor suitable for demanding applications, boasting longer battery life. For everyday tasks, the Vivobook is sufficient and more affordable; however, if you need higher performance, better display quality, and portability, despite the higher cost, the Zenbook 13 is the superior choice. The ASUS Zenbook 13 is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook 13 offers a superior experience for general use mainly because of its high-quality OLED screen, better CPU performance from its AMD Ryzen processor, and its lightweight design coupled with longer battery life for increased portability. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15, while decent for general tasks with an adequate Intel i3 processor and IPS display, falls short with a heavier build, shorter battery life, and a lower-quality screen compared to the Zenbook 13.

The ASUS Zenbook 13 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS Zenbook 13's higher resolution and brighter display offer a clearer and more vibrant viewing experience compared to the Vivobook 15. For engineering and design tasks, the Zenbook's superior color coverage with wider gamuts ensures more accurate color reproduction, which is essential for detailed and color-sensitive work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, although the better resolution and panel quality of the Zenbook may still provide a slightly more enjoyable visual experience.

How the ASUS Vivobook 15 and the ASUS Zenbook 13 compare to other laptops
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
"The Asus ZenBook 13 is a compact 13-inch laptop with a fast Ryzen 7 5800U and OLED display. The subnotebook is also light and the modern design is convincing. The selection of high-quality materials make the device not only light, but also very stable. In addition, the visuals and haptics of the device offers a high-quality impression. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800U is a very good fit for the ZenBook 13, ensuring a high performance in the test. However, in terms of the 3D performance, we also notice that the Vega architecture is beginning to hit its limits."
