When choosing between the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the Razer Blade 17, consider that the ASUS is more budget-friendly and lighter, making it easier to carry around, but it offers less power and storage compared to the Razer Blade 17. The Razer Blade 17, while more expensive, provides a significantly more powerful processor, larger storage capacity, better graphics card, and a higher resolution screen, which are beneficial for high-performance tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. It also has a stronger build quality and better heat management, but it is slightly heavier and comes with an additional weight due to its power brick. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Christian Hintze | April 2022
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | July 2022
"Our test configuration of the Blade 17 targets gamers and creative professionals. A Core i9-12900H processor, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP after the BIOS update, 16 GB of VRAM), and 32 GB of working memory equip the laptop for video processing, rending, and 4k gaming at the highest level. In addition, a fast PCIe-4 SSD (1 TB) ensures short load and storage times. With the Blade 17 (Early 2022), Razer delivers a successful and powerful work device for creative professionals. But this also has its price."
