If you prioritize gaming, heavy multitasking, and more intensive applications, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is designed for these tasks with its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card, but it is heavier and generally has a shorter battery life compared to more basic laptops. For general use like browsing, streaming, and office applications, the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" is a budget-friendly option that's more portable and has longer battery life, but it lacks the performance needed for demanding software and gaming. Consider your main activities and whether performance or portability and cost are more critical to your needs. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is only fair for engineering and design, while the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" is poor.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is better suited for engineering and design use due to its more powerful Intel i5 processor, substantial RAM, dedicated Nvidia GPU, and higher-quality IPS screen, which are essential for demanding software and detailed visual work. The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has a better screen than the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17, with a higher resolution and brighter display, offers a more pleasing experience for general tasks like browsing and watching videos, but its color range limitations can affect professionals who rely on accurate color reproduction for tasks like engineering design. For designers who need to work with a wide spectrum of colors, the lack of extensive color gamuts like DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB in both laptops means neither is ideal for high-fidelity visual work. When it comes to gaming or 3D applications, the Packard Bell Cloudbook falls short due to a lower refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion, whereas the ASUS provides a better, albeit not top-tier, experience in this aspect due to its superior refresh rate, although it's still not the best pick for hardcore gamers or professionals in animation and visual effects.

"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
