If you prioritize gaming or intensive engineering tasks, the Asus TUF Gaming F17 with its advanced graphics card and more powerful processor is a better fit, but it's less portable and more expensive. On the other hand, if general use is your focus and budget is a concern, the Maypug 15" Laptop should suffice. It’s lighter and more affordable, though less capable for demanding applications and games. Keep in mind, battery life and screen quality will also differ, with the Asus likely offering a clearer and smoother visual experience due to a higher resolution and refresh rate. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is only fair for gaming and AI, while the Maypug 15" Laptop is poor.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is equipped with a Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti and has a screen refresh rate of 144 Hz, which supports smoother visuals and better graphic performance for gaming and 3D applications. The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is only fair for engineering and design, while the Maypug 15" Laptop is poor.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is suited for engineering and design due to its capable Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU, which can efficiently handle demanding software and provide a good visual experience on its FHD screen. In comparison, the Maypug 15" Laptop's Intel Celeron CPU, integrated Intel UHD Graphics, and lower resolution display make it less suitable for such tasks, providing less power for software use and a less detailed visual workspace.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has a better screen than the Maypug 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 offers a pleasing visual experience for everyday tasks due to its decent resolution and brightness, making it suitable for browsing, watching videos, and document editing. However, for engineering and design work that requires accurate color representation, it may fall short because it lacks wide color gamut coverage essential for such precision work. Lastly, for gaming and 3D applications, its weaker refresh rate fails to deliver the smooth visuals enthusiasts look for to match fast-paced scenes and action sequences.

"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
