If you prioritize gaming performance and don't mind a larger and heavier laptop, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 with its dedicated Nvidia GPU is better suited for you, but it has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, if you prefer a more portable device with longer battery life and a touchscreen, ideal for general use and casual creative tasks, go for the HP Envy x360 15". Remember, the HP Envy may struggle with more intensive engineering and 3D tasks due to its integrated GPU, where the ASUS would excel thanks to its superior graphics capabilities. Give Feedback

For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17's larger screen and decent resolution contribute to a comfortable viewing experience, though it might not be as sharp or as bright for outdoor use compared to higher-end displays. Engineers and designers might find the color representation on the TUF F17 adequate for less demanding tasks, but the limited color gamuts might not suit professional-grade color work. For gaming and 3D applications, the HP Envy x360's lower refresh rate and potential lack of fluidity make it less ideal compared to models specifically tailored with higher refresh rates for smoother visuals in fast-paced scenarios.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the HP Envy x360 15" compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"Despite its good looks, stellar webcam and comfortable keyboard, the Envy x360 15 is hard to recommend because of its dim, 16:9 display. If the display isn't an issue for you, just be sure to wait for a good sale price. Otherwise, a more modern two-in-one with a 16:10 display such as the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 provides a larger workspace without adding much to the size and weight of the system."
