The ASUS TUF Gaming F17, priced higher, caters more to gaming with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU, hardware ray tracing, and DLSS. It offers better 3D and machine learning performance and has a faster screen refresh rate, good for fast-paced games. In contrast, the HP 17" Laptop, less expensive, excels in general use with better battery life, a more lightweight design, and a higher RAM, which is ideal for multitasking. Both have 17.3" screens and are not highly portable, but the HP's weight is more manageable. Neither is touchscreen-enabled, and both have IPS displays. The ASUS has a distinct gaming laptop appearance, whereas the HP has a more neutral aesthetic. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the HP 17" Laptop compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"As far as starter laptops go, the HP Laptop 17 is a sound investment. Sure, it might not be the lightest of options, but what you get for the price is a well-rounded machine that fits multiple niches. Whether it be office duties that require you to multi-task between multiple programs, or study tasks in which you’ll spend hours browsing online, this laptop does it all. Plus, when it's time to unwind, you can watch your favorite shows or movies on a super-wide display. What's best of all is that you can do all this for about half a day on a single charge."
