The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is more budget-friendly and boasts a larger screen, but with a lower resolution and moderate battery life. It's more suited for less demanding games and tasks. The Gigabyte Aero 5, while pricier, offers a smaller yet higher-resolution OLED display, superior performance capabilities for 3D, machine learning, and engineering applications, and a significantly better battery life. Its higher-quality build makes it more suitable for intensive gaming and professional creative work. Consider the ASUS if you prefer a cost-effective, bigger screen option for casual use and light gaming; opt for the Gigabyte Aero 5 if you need a high-performance laptop for demanding tasks and better portability due to its extended battery life. "One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
