The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is more suitable for gaming and intensive engineering tasks due to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, but at 5.73 pounds and with a shorter battery life, it is less portable. On the other hand, the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) is extremely portable at only 2.95 pounds and offers a longer battery life, making it ideal for general use and travel. It has a higher resolution display with better color reproduction but uses integrated Intel graphics, which limits its ability for intensive 3D tasks or heavy gaming. Both are priced similarly, so consider what's more important: performance for demanding applications or mobility and screen quality for everyday use. Give Feedback

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"If you’re thinking of investing in your first Framework, now is the time. The kinks and rough edges have all been smoothed out and this is a very nice machine with a bright, upgradable future. The only reason I can think of to wait is the AMD model, which I’ll be sure to test as soon as I can get my hands on one."
