The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is a solid choice if you prioritize gaming or performance-intensive tasks, as it generally offers robust graphics and processing capabilities suitable for demanding applications, but may be bulkier and have shorter battery life. On the other hand, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is tailored for professionals who require advanced multitasking capabilities, especially with its secondary screen for additional workspace. It usually combines high performance with portability, but might come at a higher price. Consider the TUF Gaming F17 for gaming and heavy tasks, and the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 if you need a portable workstation with dual displays. Give Feedback

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is only fair.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is rated very good for gaming and 3D due to its superior RTX 3070 Ti GPU and OLED screen with high resolution and color accuracy, whereas the ASUS TUF Gaming F17, with its RTX 3050 Ti GPU and IPS screen with lower resolution and color coverage, is just considered fair, despite having a higher refresh rate which is beneficial for gaming. The ZenBook's higher-tier CPU also contributes to its better performance for demanding tasks compared to the TUF's mid-range CPU.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is excellent for engineering and design, while the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is only fair.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is better suited for engineering and design due to its more powerful CPU and GPU, larger RAM, and superior screen quality which includes higher resolution and OLED technology; these features greatly enhance performance and visual detail necessary for demanding tasks. In contrast, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17, while still capable, offers more modest specifications in these areas, and although it is less portable than the ZenBook Pro Duo 15, it may appeal to those who prioritize a larger screen size and cost-effectiveness.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 offers a higher resolution and brighter display which enhances readability and clarity, while the TUF Gaming F17 provides decent visualization but doesn't stand out particularly in these areas. Engineering and design tasks benefit from the ZenBook's wider color gamuts, giving professionals more precision in color-critical work, whereas the TUF Gaming F17 has limited color ranges, making it less ideal for these purposes. Gamers and those involved in 3D work will find the TUF Gaming F17's lower refresh rate less suited for fast-paced visuals, while the ZenBook's poor refresh rate for such tasks may also disappoint despite its higher resolution and superior panel type.

"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
