The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is generally less expensive and offers solid performance for gaming with a dedicated graphics card, but is heavier and has a shorter battery life. The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17, in contrast, is more expensive but offers more storage, significantly more memory, and a more powerful processor suitable for intensive work like 3D rendering or machine learning. It is also lighter, has a longer battery life, and a screen with high color accuracy, making it well-suited for creative professionals. Both have a 17.3-inch display, but if portability and long battery life are important to you, the Zenbook Pro 17 edges out. However, if price and gaming are your priorities, the TUF Gaming F17 might be the better fit. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 is very good for general use, while the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is good.
The ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 offers superior performance for general use with its higher capacity RAM and more powerful AMD processor, coupled with a screen that provides better color coverage and brightness, contributing to a more vibrant display. In comparison, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 has less RAM and a less robust Intel processor, and while it has a decent display, it falls short in screen brightness and color accuracy, factors which, along with its shorter battery life and lower portability score, make it less ideal for varied general use cases.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 17 compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
