The ASUS TUF Gaming F17 is a lower-priced, bulkier option with a larger screen, dedicated gaming graphics, and a numeric keypad, making it suitable for gaming and some engineering purposes. However, it has less storage, memory, and a lower-resolution non-touchscreen compared to the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13, which is more expensive but offers a premium, lightweight design with a high-resolution touchscreen, better battery life, and greater portability, suited for general use and professional tasks that benefit from a more vibrant display and touch functionality. Depending on whether you prioritize gaming and cost or portability and display quality, the choice between the two will vary. Give Feedback

The ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When considering screen quality for general use, the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 excels with its high resolution and brightness, which ensure sharp images and good visibility under various lighting conditions, while the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 may offer adequate performance for casual tasks despite a lesser focus on these aspects. For engineering and design work, the Zenbook's superior color accuracy and broader color gamuts are essential for precise visual representation, a feature the TUF Gaming's display does not prioritize. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the higher refresh rate of the TUF Gaming F17 is key for smooth motion rendering, though both laptops may not be ideal due to the Zenbook's poor refresh rate and both devices having moderate resolutions and panel types.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the ASUS Zenbook Flip S13 compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip is an ultra-sleek 2-in-1 convertible. A gorgeous OLED screen and lightweight magnesium chassis make this convertible a traveller’s dream. Its SSD isn’t fast, but it won’t hold you back in everyday use. Its battery life also isn’t class leading, but it’s hardly off the pace. Overall, the Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED holds its head high in the premium convertible category and is a smaller alternative to the Spectre x360 13.5 and the Yoga 9i Gen 7."
