If high performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming is a priority, the ASUS TUF Gaming F17, despite being less portable and having a shorter battery life, is equipped with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. Conversely, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 offers a more vibrant OLED display with higher resolution, making it better for general use and media consumption, and boasts longer battery life and greater portability with its lighter weight. If budget is a concern, note that the Vivobook Pro 14 is generally less expensive but comes with less storage out of the box. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
When considering general use, a laptop with a vivid display, high resolution, and bright panel, such as the Vivobook Pro 14, offers a clearer and more enjoyable viewing experience compared to the TUF Gaming F17, which may have a less impressive display. For engineering and design tasks that demand accurate color representation, the Vivobook Pro 14 stands out with its wider color gamut coverage, providing richer and more precise colors necessary for professional work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the TUF Gaming F17's lower refresh rate leads to less fluid visuals, making it less suitable for fast-paced games or smooth 3D rendering compared to laptops with higher refresh rates.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F17 and the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 compare to other laptops
"One of the Asus TUF Gaming F17’s highlights is without a doubt its excellent gaming performance. The fact that Asus configured the RTX 3060 GPU for its specified maximum of 140 W is became immediately noticeable in our benchmarks. For a 17-inch notebook the F17 also offers a very long battery life, which makes it somewhat portable. On the flip side is the display. It may be saved by its good overall contrast ratio, but its overall brightness is simply too low, and its response times are too slow for a gaming device. The F17’s successor needs to improve upon this."
"The Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is a Pantone Validated laptop that packs a lot of processing power. The Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED's highlight is its outstanding display: Featuring a 3K resolution in the 16:10 format and nearly a 100% coverage of the Display P3 color space, the display hardly leaves anything to be desired. The Asus laptop also shows impeccable rates in terms of general system performance. Combined with long battery life, low noise emissions, and relatively good speakers, the laptop can be recommended to users who can accept compromises in terms of connectivity."
