The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is the more affordable option with a newer main processor, higher GPU performance, and better battery life, making it suitable for gaming and intensive tasks. It is somewhat lighter for better portability. In contrast, the MSI GP66 Leopard, despite being more expensive and having an older CPU and less powerful GPU, boasts a higher quality display with better color accuracy, making it ideal for tasks where screen quality is paramount. However, it is heavier and the battery capacity is lower, impacting portability and usage time on the go. Both have comparable amounts of RAM and fast refresh rates, but the ASUS offers a significantly larger storage capacity out of the box. If you need high storage space and are focused on gaming or performance, go for the ASUS, but if the display quality for professional creative work or enjoyment of media is a priority, consider the MSI. The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for content creation, while the MSI GP66 Leopard has a better screen for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers an adequate display for typical applications like browsing or watching videos as it likely has sufficient resolution and brightness, but the limited color gamut and lower refresh rate impair its suitability for color-sensitive engineering tasks and the fast-paced visuals essential for gaming or 3D rendering. The MSI GP66 Leopard's display, with its good color reproduction and satisfactory resolution, caters well to engineers and designers who require accuracy for detailed work, but like the ASUS, it falls short for gaming because of an unimpressive refresh rate that can't provide the smoothest visual experience in high-speed gaming situations. General users will find either laptop display appropriately bright and clear for everyday tasks, but the nuances of professional design work and the demands of serious gaming lack complete support from both models.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
