Based on your needs, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and Lenovo Flex 5 14 present distinct advantages. The ASUS is better for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering or machine learning due to its powerful Intel processor and Nvidia RTX graphics; however, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Lenovo Flex 5 is more portable, has a touchscreen with higher resolution, and longer battery life, making it well-suited for general use and on-the-go productivity, but its integrated AMD graphics are less powerful for demanding applications. Consider these trade-offs when making your decision. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 excels in gaming and 3D applications due to its superior graphics processing unit (GPU) and higher screen refresh rate, which greatly enhance visual performance and responsiveness in fast-paced scenarios. On the other hand, the Lenovo Flex 5 14's fair gaming and 3D performance can be attributed to its modest GPU and standard screen refresh rate, which are sufficient for casual gaming but may not provide as immersive an experience as the ASUS for more demanding tasks.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15's screen may offer a pleasing experience with its resolution and brightness being more than adequate, but for those in engineering and design, its limited color range restricts precision in color-sensitive tasks. The Lenovo Flex 5 14's screen, providing similar levels of resolution and brightness, holds its ground for everyday tasks and productivity software, although it too falls short for professional color work due to limited color gamut coverage. Gamers and those into 3D applications may find both laptops lacking, as their screens don't prioritize high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth visuals and a responsive experience in fast-paced scenarios.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Lenovo Flex 5 14 compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
