The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers a balance of resolution and brightness, making it comfortable for daily tasks, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17H stands out with a higher resolution and brightness, providing a more vivid and crisp display. In engineering and design, the Aorus 17H has an advantage with better color accuracy covering wider color gamuts crucial for professional work, whereas the TUF's coverage is only sufficient for non-professional design tasks. Yet, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, meaning less smooth visuals, but the resolution and panel types are still adequate for moderate gaming and 3D use.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H and ASUS TUF Gaming F15 are both good for general use.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is a solid choice for general use due to its capable CPU and RAM, good screen quality, reasonable portability with a lighter weight and compact dimensions, and a satisfactory battery life. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 17H also serves general use effectively with a slightly more powerful CPU, ample RAM, a larger and higher quality screen, and improved speaker quality, although it is less portable and has a slightly longer battery life. Both laptops offer high-resolution displays and considerable storage, but the Aorus 17H's larger size and higher weight could make it less convenient for frequent travel.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
