The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 offers solid performance for gaming and general use at a somewhat lower price point, and it is slightly more portable due to its lighter weight. It features a high refresh rate screen which is good for gaming, though it has a standard resolution and less color accuracy compared to the Gigabyte. Conversely, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, while more costly, comes with a more powerful processor, a higher-resolution display that is better both for color-sensitive work and fast-paced games, and improved battery life. The extra cost provides enhanced performance for 3D tasks, machine learning, and engineering applications, but it is also heavier, which might affect portability. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
When selecting a laptop for general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15's screen offers satisfactory resolution and brightness, ensuring crisp visuals and good visibility under various lighting conditions, while the Gigabyte Aorus 15X's superior resolution and brightness provide an even more vibrant and clear display experience. For engineering and design purposes, where color accuracy is vital, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 delivers reasonable coverage of professional color gamuts, but the Gigabyte Aorus 15X's screen fares better, allowing for a richer color reproduction and more precise work in color-sensitive tasks. However, for gaming and 3D applications that rely heavily on fluid motion, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, lacking the smoothness desired by enthusiasts in fast-paced scenarios where higher refresh rates are key for optimal performance.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
