The ASUS TUF Gaming F15, with its higher-end graphics card, is tailored for intensive gaming and tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning; however, it's less portable due to its weight. The Dell Inspiron 16 5620, being lighter and with a more budget-friendly price, is suitable for general use and engineering tasks, boasting silent operation but doesn't excel in high-end gaming or high-performance activities. If portability and price are main concerns, the Dell is appealing, while the ASUS is a better fit for those needing high-performance graphics for gaming or specialized applications. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a higher-powered GPU, the Nvidia RTX 4070, with high-end gaming features including ray tracing and a higher screen refresh rate which greatly benefits performance in gaming and 3D applications. In contrast, the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 has a more modest integrated Intel Graphics solution and a lower screen refresh rate, making it less optimal for demanding gaming or 3D tasks but could offer better battery life and portability for everyday use.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15's screen offers vibrant colors and clarity due to its high resolution, making it pleasing for activities like browsing or watching videos; however, the Inspiron's similar resolution ensures it's also suitable for everyday tasks, albeit with slight differences in brightness and color reproduction. In engineering and design, professionals require accurate color representation which is provided by wider color gamuts, but as both laptops have fair screen quality, they offer moderate fidelity in color accuracy which may not satisfy advanced professional standards. When it comes to 3D tasks and gaming, high refresh rates lead to smoother visuals and the ASUS might have the edge if it has a higher refresh rate, but both devices may fall short for high-level gaming due to their lower refresh rates compared to specialized gaming laptops.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5620 compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"If the world is exciting enough right now, you can do far worse than a solid performer that you know will get the job done. Our review model is as powerful as you'd want an office machine to be unless you're performing specialist tasks and the price point is pretty attractive (unless work will let you have a MacBook Air instead)."
