The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is the choice for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming due to its higher performance hardware, but it has a lower battery life and is heavier which makes it less portable. The Vivobook S 15 OLED, on the other hand, offers a brilliant OLED display with superior color accuracy and higher resolution, making it ideal for general use and multimedia enjoyment, and also has better battery life, making it more convenient for on-the-go use. It is lighter but less suited for demanding engineering software and intense gaming due to its less powerful integrated graphics. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15’s screen offers adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks, making it suitable for general use, but its narrower color gamut means less precise color representation, which can be a drawback for engineering and design work. The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED boasts a high-resolution OLED display with vibrant colors covering a wide color gamut, making it an exceptional choice for precision work in engineering and design. However, when it comes to 3D applications and gaming, both laptops fall short as they don't have the high refresh rate screens that provide smoother visual experiences in fast-paced scenarios.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and ASUS TUF Gaming F15 are both very good for engineering and design.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 comes with a high-performance dedicated Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU suited for demanding engineering simulations and design work, whereas the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED, despite its powerful Intel i9 processor, relies on integrated graphics, which are less capable for intensive tasks. Additionally, the TUF Gaming model's IPS screen, while good, doesn't match the Vivobook's superior OLED display with higher resolution and color accuracy, which would favor design tasks requiring precise color representation.

How the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED compare to other laptops
"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
