If you prioritize a high-quality display and a lightweight, slim design for productivity and general use, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is a great choice, with its OLED screen providing vivid colors and deeper blacks. However, it may cost more. On the other hand, if you're interested in gaming or tasks that require high-performance graphics like 3D rendering, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" with its dedicated Nvidia RTX graphics card would be better suited, although it's bulkier and heavier, which makes it less portable than the ASUS. Both laptops offer similar processing power and RAM, so your decision should be based on your specific needs for display quality, graphics performance, and portability.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED showcases vibrant colors and deep contrasts with its OLED panel, making it ideal for tasks that involve visual precision like engineering and design due to its wide color gamuts. The Lenovo Legion 5 15", while offering a decent quality display for everyday tasks and sufficient color accuracy for design work, falls short in gaming and 3D applications because of its lower refresh rate. Both laptops may not deliver the best experience for gaming or 3D modeling where a high refresh rate is crucial to keep motion smooth and controls responsive.

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
