The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is a midrange laptop offering higher performance for gaming and 3D work, with a more powerful processor and graphics card. It's better suited if you need a machine that can handle high-intensity tasks like gaming and engineering software, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook 15 is a budget-friendly option with lower performance capabilities. It's suitable for general use like web browsing, office applications, and video streaming. It's lighter and offers longer battery life but isn't suited for intensive gaming or heavy multimedia tasks. Choose the TUF Gaming F15 for performance or the Vivobook 15 for basic tasks and portability. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is very good for engineering and design, while the ASUS Vivobook 15 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 outshines the ASUS Vivobook 15 in engineering and design mainly due to its superior CPU, RAM, and GPU, providing better performance for demanding software used in these fields, along with high-quality screen attributes favorable for detailed work. Meanwhile, the Vivobook 15, while more portable due to its lighter weight and slightly better battery life, falls short in power and display capabilities, making it less suitable for intensive tasks but still competent for less demanding engineering and design applications.

The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, where clarity, readability, and comfort are key, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15's superior resolution and brightness provide a more vivid and clear display than the ASUS Vivobook 15, also factoring in the panel type that contributes to the overall viewing experience. When it comes to engineering and design work, professionals seek precise color representation; hence, the TUF Gaming F15's wider color gamuts offer better color accuracy, although neither laptop is ideal for color-critical work. However, the VivoBook 15 is not a fit for 3D work or gaming, as both require high refresh rates for smooth visuals, and while the TUF F15 is also not optimal for those tasks, it has a slight edge due to a moderately better refresh rate and resolution.

"Aside from all the chassis updates, the new TUF Gaming is most notable for its much higher TGP target of 140 W compared to only 95 W on the previous generation. PC makers everywhere are using the same GeForce GPUs this year since Nvidia has yet to launch the successor to the mobile RTX 3000 series. The more demanding processors of the new TUF Gaming has directly impacted battery life and the size of the AC adapter. Don't expect runtimes to be longer than on the previous generation under most conditions and be prepared to carry around an even larger AC adapter than before."
"The Asus VivoBook 15 is a quiet office notebook with a strong screen. However, the VivoBook 15 still has room for improvement. Office and internet applications as well as simple games do not pose any major challenges for the VivoBook - this is ensured by the built-in combination of Ryzen 7 5700U APU and 16 GB of RAM. Heat and noise emissions are acceptable. But, the laptop has weaknesses that should not be present at this level: lack of keyboard lighting, a slow memory card reader, no fast USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 4) with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Battery runtimes can only be described as average."
