Choosing between the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo depends largely on your needs and preferences. If you need a powerful machine for gaming or heavy 3D work, the ROG Strix G17, with its higher-end graphics and processor, is an excellent choice, but it is larger and heavier, which might impact its portability. On the other hand, the ZenBook Pro 14 Duo, while it's lighter and more portable with a better battery life, isn't as suited for intensive tasks due to its less powerful graphics, but it offers a unique dual-screen feature which can be very beneficial for multitasking and productivity. Both have ample storage and high-resolution screens, but the ZenBook's OLED display is superior in terms of color accuracy and contrast, which makes it a better choice for creative professionals focused on visual work. How the ASUS ROG Strix G17 and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Strix G17 is an attractive but unbalanced gaming laptop. Its potent AMD Ryzen 9 processor excels in 1080p gaming, but playing at 1440p leaves the middling GeForce RTX 4060 GPU shouldering most of the burden. The display is exceptionally colorful, which is handy for content creators, but since this is a gaming laptop it would be better served with improved HDR capabilities. If battery life isn't a priority, the Strix G17 could serve as a designer by day and a gamer by night."
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
