The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers great portability, an impressive 20-hour battery life, and excellent build quality, making it suitable for general use and on-the-go productivity. Its performance is tailored mainly for everyday tasks. On the other hand, the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo, with its larger screen and OLED display, offers superior screen colors and is touch-enabled, catering to creative professionals. It has a more generous storage capacity, significantly more RAM, and better suitability for engineering and 3D work due to its high-performance processor, though it has a shorter battery life of around 6 hours which could limit mobility. The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo is very good for engineering and design, while the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is good.
The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo offers a higher RAM, a powerful Intel processor, and a superior OLED screen which is particularly beneficial for demanding engineering and design tasks compared to the Apple MacBook Pro 13's Apple M2 processor with integrated GPU and lower RAM, albeit the MacBook excels in portability with its lighter design and longer battery life. While both are suitable, the ASUS's higher specs provide an edge for more intensive use, but the MacBook Pro 13 might be a better fit if quiet operation and lighter weight for mobility are prioritized.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo has a better screen than the Apple MacBook Pro 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a high-resolution display that offers vibrant colors and excellent brightness, making it great for both everyday tasks and engineering design work where color accuracy is crucial. However, its screen has a standard refresh rate, which is not ideal for 3D applications where smoother motion is required. Conversely, the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo also boasts a high-resolution, color-accurate display appropriate for general use and professional design, but it similarly lacks a high refresh rate, making it less suitable for gaming and 3D work that benefit from quicker, more fluid visuals.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
