The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers premium performance and portability due to its tablet form factor with a detachable keyboard, but it comes at a higher cost. It's ideal for those who need a powerful device that's easy to carry around, and it can handle gaming, 3D work, and demanding engineering tasks. The Lenovo Legion 5 15", on the other hand, provides good performance with a more traditional laptop design at a lower price point. It's suitable for general use, gaming, and work, but it's heavier and less portable compared to the ASUS. Consider the value of performance and portability versus cost when making your decision. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, a laptop with a high-resolution screen, a panel type that offers clear and vibrant images, and sufficient brightness for comfortable viewing is critical, and thus the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 excels due to its sharp display and high brightness levels. In engineering and design, accurate color representation is paramount, which is why the Z13 with its wider color gamuts performs exceptionally well. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D applications, a high refresh rate is crucial for smooth motion rendering, and since both laptops have lower refresh rates, they are not ideal for this purpose.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
