The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers high performance with a top-tier processor and dedicated graphics, suitable for intensive tasks like gaming and engineering but with average battery life and a heavier build, making it less portable. Contrarily, the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo, although less expensive, provides ample memory and an OLED screen with high resolution ideal for creative professionals who prioritize color accuracy and display quality, features an integrated graphics card that may be less suited for high-end gaming or 3D rendering, yet it has a superior battery size for longer use on the go. Both laptops feature touchscreens and comparable port selections but addressing different user needs; the Z13 for gaming and power-intensive tasks, and the ZenBook Pro 14 Duo for multimedia creation and general productivity with a focus on display excellence. The ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo and ASUS ROG Flow Z13 are both very good for general use, though the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo is somewhat better.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is highly portable due to its detachable keyboard and lighter weight, while providing excellent screen quality and fair battery life for general use, despite its louder operating noise and good but less extensive heat management. In contrast, the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo offers a larger and higher-quality OLED screen, more RAM for multitasking, and superior speaker quality with a quieter operation and better heat management, suiting it for prolonged, intensive tasks, but it is less portable due to its higher weight and larger size.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is equipped with an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, ideal for gaming and 3D tasks thanks to its advanced graphics processing capabilities and hardware ray tracing, while the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo uses an Intel Iris Xe GPU, which, while capable, may not offer the same level of gaming and 3D performance as the dedicated Nvidia GPU found in the Flow Z13. Additionally, the higher screen refresh rate of the Flow Z13 enhances the gaming experience by providing smoother motion and better responsiveness during fast-paced action.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo boast high-resolution displays with excellent brightness and clarity, making them great for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work where color accuracy and sharp visuals matter. Their comprehensive color gamut coverage ensures that professionals in design and engineering get precise color reproduction for tasks like photo editing and CAD work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, their screens fall short due to lower refresh rates which can result in less fluid motion, making them less ideal for fast-paced games or creating smooth 3D animations.

How the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 and the ASUS ZenBook Pro 14 Duo compare to other laptops
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
"The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED is a well-tuned instrument for content creators, excelling at a range of general office tasks as well as tasks that require a little more grunt like encoding and 3D rendering. The big attraction is the laptop’s dual displays. They’re the best ones we’ve used in an Asus Zenbook Duo laptop to date with a spate of year-on-year improvements that make the visuals more striking and the cross-screen integration easier than ever before."
